PRE-TRAVEL COVID-19: TESTING PROGRAM BEGINS OCTOBER 15th
- The State of Hawaii’s new online Safe Travels program is mandatory for all travelers.
- Pre-testing program requires travelers coming to the State of Hawaii to take a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT).
- Arriving passengers will be exempt from 14-day quarantine if they test negative for COVID-19 no more than 72 hours in advance of travel.
- Tests must be conducted in a certified lab.
- All travelers must be tested, including children
- Travelers must pay for their own testing.
- If test results are not available within 72 hours, travelers must quarantine upon arrival to Hawaii until they receive their results.
- No testing for travelers will take place in Hawaii or at Hawaii airports.
MANDATORY “SAFE TRAVELS” ONLINE APPLICATION
All guests traveling into Hawaii and between the Hawaiian Islands must complete the mandatory forms using SAFE TRAVELS APP 24 hours prior to flight departure.
Once the online application is completed, travelers will receive a QR code via email, which will be scanned by the airport upon arrival:
